I found
this information among my papers from school and thought you would get a kick
of the rules for our class trip to Williamsburg in 1958. My, how times have changed, I don’t think
anyone would follow them now. What do you think???
FIELD TRIP RULES
1.
Only
Quiet talking will be permitted on the bus.
There can be no standing or changing of seats.
during bus ride.
(Those who can not comply with
this rule will remain on the school bus at each
point of interest.)
2.
Each
pupil will remain with his group throughout
the trip and obey
his assigned leader.
3. Listen attentively to the guides with ears
only.
Ask questions only after being recognized.
4. Treat all places to be visited with proper respect
for age.
Remember that these historic places are
much older than your grandparents whom you
all
honor.
5. Finally, bear in mind that you are the representatives
of Flint Hill School whose reputation can be
no
better than your behavior.
